Master’s Paper: “Must (Only) the Rich Have Their Trains?”

I’ve been working on research for this project for a year and a half or so. Regular readers of this blog or Twitter followers will have seen references to it along the way, and I’m now excited to present the real thing. So here it is: Sandy’s (lengthy) take on American commuter rail and how to improve it. TL;DR: it’s all about politics and current political actors who have little incentive to improve, but many other countries do it better.
